Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional Chronograph
The Speedmaster is one of Omega’s most iconic models. Used during six lunar missions, the Speedmaster embodies the brand’s pioneering and adventurous spirit.
Icon among icons, it remains the gold standard for any collector. Along with its complex or revamped models, the manufacturer chose to preserve the aesthetic and movement of the famous Moonwatch, a cult watch from 1969, to the great delight of collectors who can still purchase the original version of the space watch. This “Professional Moonwatch Chronograph” model is one such model. It features a black dial with hesalite glass, like the original Moonwatch. The dial is punctuated with a small seconds counter, a 30-minute counter and a 12-hour counter, not to mention the chronograph’s central hand: a so-called “tricompax” configuration that has challenged trends and which still provides the ultimate ease of legibility. The black bezel, equipped with a tachymetric scale, is mounted on a 42 mm stainless steel case accompanied by a matching watchband. An immutable icon, the Speedmaster crosses space and time with everlasting presence and power.
