The highlight of the Chronomaster Sport: it displays tenths of a second
The new Chronomaster Sport combines the philosophy of the El Primero A386 with the design of the Chronomaster De Luca and the high-frequency performance that the El Primero calibre has offered for over 50 years. In the new collection, the legacy of the unrivalled Chronomaster line is reflected in the sophisticated dial with its iconic tricolour El Primero chronograph counter, a feature dating back to the A386 from 1969. At the same time, the polished black ceramic bezel clearly sets the Chronomaster Sport with its slim, robust 41-millimetre stainless-steel case apart from earlier models.
The new Chronomaster Sport is equipped with a new version of this watchmaker’s most famous movement: the El Primero 3600. Zenith has succeeded in enhancing this movement, which has a frequency of 36,600 vibrations per hour (5 Hertz), with a tenth-of-a-second display and increasing its power reserve to 60 hours.
The Chronomaster is available in two versions – with a black or white dial. In keeping with the modern yet timeless aesthetic of this chronograph, the Chronomaster Sport features an integrated stainless-steel strap. Also available: a textured rubber strap in a Cordura look with a stainless-steel folding buckle.
